Foundations in Person Centred Work

This is a three-hour introduction into the core themes, values and skills front line staff need in the work they do. We will cover the importance of having a person-centered approach, about the importance of empathy and relationship building in the work we do, and how these approaches can be an effective way of mentoring youth and adults to build their social capacity in the world. We will talk about our own values, our own sense of self, and how they impact the relationships we develop.

Who should attend?

This workshop can be a part of an orientation to all new staff and care providers, and provide a good review for more seasoned staff. If uncertain, please do not hesitate to connect with the contact person listed for more information.
