Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD)

Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) can be a common mental health diagnosis given to children in care. But what does this mean?

This presentation will explore these “oppositional” behaviours, reframe them from a trauma-informed lens, and explore how they help a child survive and cope.

Intervention strategies from a strength-based perspective will be discussed.

Presented by MACC (Multidisciplinary Assessment and Consultation Center) with Dr. Lindsay Woods and Chuck Groening, R.S.W.
