Children & Youth Care Provider and Specialized Overnight Respite
Do you want to make a difference in the life of children or youth by supporting them in your home and working as part of a vibrant team? We are currently looking for some wonderful humans to join out team!
Family Connections is a Child Home Services program that provides person-centered, family focused supports to children and youth with complex needs. The supports we offer are intended to ensure children and their natural networks maintain meaningful connections within their cultural community.
What We Are Looking For:
- Awareness of Indigenous Culture & History
- A Commitment to work Alongside Families
- A Trauma Informed Lens
- A Collaborative Mindset
- An ability and willingness to work with children and/ or youth with complex needs
- A safe, nurturing home with additional space
Care Provider (Foster Parents):
- Full-time/Long term Commitment, providing a safe & caring living environment in your home for children/youth ages 0-18, with a goal of reunification
Specialized Overnight Respite (SOR):
- Short-term stays in your home to provide families with relief from extensive caregiving demands. Supporting children/youth ages 0-18
