New Directions is a social service agency offering a wide range of resources and services that provide supports to children, youth, and adults in a variety of settings. We are currently seeking full time Direct Support Workers to join the Deaf Home Supports team.

We need from you:
• High School or equivalent
• American Sign Language (ASL) proficiency
• Driver’s License
• First Aid (or ability to get)
• Compassion, empathy, and integrity
• Clear Criminal, Adult/Child Abuse Registry and Prior Contact Checks


You will or might:
• Plan, make and shop for meals
• Help with personal care
• Assist with medications
• Drive to and attend appointments
• Learn how support individuals who live with trauma

Would you like to warm the heart and life of the individuals we support? We have day, evening, and awake overnight shifts open to fill with caring staff!

The salary range for this 40 hour per week, full-time position is $15.66 to $21.92 per hour (Equivalent to $32,572 to $45,593 per annum), dependent upon education and/or experience. A full benefits package (which include Health and Dental Benefits, Long Term Disability Benefits, and a Pension Plan) is provided to regular full-time staff.

The successful candidate will be subject to Criminal Record, Child/Adult Abuse Registry, and Prior Contact checks. In addition, applicants will be required to provide a copy of their Driver’s License and a Driver’s Abstract.
