Beverly Sabourin has had a remarkable and distinguished professional, entrepreneurial, and volunteer career that has spanned five decades. Beverly has made outstanding contributions to the social, cultural, and educational advancement of First Nations people and to the communities in which she has lived

Prior to her retirement from Lakehead University as the Vice Provost of Indigenous Initiatives, Beverly held the position of Director of Access Programs at Red River College. Beverly holds a Bachelor and Masters of Social Work degree from McGill University, and was inducted as a Fellow of Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
